ABOUT

Espiritu Tierra Community Garden is a vibrant and diverse urban oasis located in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn at 203 South 2nd Street between Driggs and Roebling. Since its establishment in the 1990’s, the garden has served as a haven for community members to come together, cultivate a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, and herbs, and connect with one another.

Managed and maintained by a dedicated group of volunteers, Espiritu Tierra Community Garden offers a wide range of activities and resources for its members and the wider community, including gardening workshops, community events, and sustainable living practices. We are committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space for all members of our community, regardless of their background or experience.

Our garden is more than just a place to grow plants - it is a hub for community empowerment, cultural exchange, and social justice. We believe in the power of gardening to bring people together, promote sustainable living, and foster a deeper connection to the natural world. We are proud to be a part of the Williamsburg community and look forward to continuing to serve as a place for inspiration, education, and growth for many years to come.
